Motion Design

Truc's love of animation fuels her creativity as she produces animated designs in a variety of styles on a variety of materials. She is currently an undergraduate studying motion design at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. Truc's passion for animation has led her to explore various techniques and software programmes to enhance her skills. She hopes to one day work in the animation industry and bring her unique style to screens.

FLUX project

We designers also use art tools and supplies on many mediums to “flux” our ideas, thus that’s the theme I chose for my responses for GradX 2023.

36 3D-rendered letters

Inspired by the “36 Days of Letters” initiative, we were able to use Maya and Substance Painter to render 36 letters for this semester.

Silva

With the help of Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine, I was able to understand how a ready-for-game model is created, including modeling, sculpting, retopology, texturing, and rendering.

The Toad

This short social media video was inspired by the Toad stories, a common Vietnamese folktale.

As students of SoDA you will be given opportunities to both engage with and educate yourself in Indigenous creative practices and cultural protocols through a lens of inclusivity, diversity, respect, mutual understanding, inter-cultural dialogue in all aspects of design practice. Indigenous people have been telling stories, making tools, and connecting to Country through visual media, placemaking and place marking for more than 60,000 years and these practices are part of an ongoing, evolving and live tradition.
